My Top Tools for Learning 2009
After reading Jane Hart's Top Tools for Learning Professionals, I decided to provide a peek into my own toolbox. It's surprising how many of these tools I have used over the past decade for their strengths in a particular area. Rather than relying on a single application to do all things, I have evaluated and chosen my favorites as follows:1. Articulate Studio - presentation, quizzes, and learning interactions
2. Adobe Captivate - presentation and software simulation
3. Camtasia Studio - presentation and software videos
4. Audacity - sound and audio effects production
5. Sony Vegas Video - video production
6. Paint Shop Pro - graphics production
7. NeoBook Authoring - Windows-based RAD authoring
8. Microsoft PowerPoint - slide-based content creation
9. PBWiki/PBWorks - wysiwyg collaborative wiki
10. MindJet Mindmanager - mind-mapping tool
Honourable mention: Wikispaces - another great wiki
Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Posted by Glen Coulthard on May 08, 2009 in Education •Technology • Comments (0)
